Susan MooneyLexington, KY: Sherman Carter Barnhart Architects, a leading regional architecture firm with offices in Lexington, Louisville and Paducah, announced today the promotion of Susan Mooney, Director of Finance, to Associate Principal in the firm.

“’Analytic’, ‘independent,’ and ‘fiercely loyal’ are character traits that describe Susan,” said Mike Smith, Sherman Carter Barnhart’s president. “As the Director of Finance overseeing and managing the firm’s financial health, she embraces providing firm leadership real-time, critical information so that comprehensive, data-driven decisions can be made in support of the firm’s strategic plan and long-term vision for success.  She has been an integral team member in effectively balancing strategic risks and best practices through her solutions-based approach to critical decisions.  We are pleased to recognize her contributions to the firm and anticipate great things as we continue to evolve together.”

As the Director of Finance, Mooney oversees the firm’s financials and works with colleagues on the firm’s long-term vision and strategies. She’s been with the firm 19 years.

Mooney’s promotion takes effect immediately.
