The Louisville Metro Housing Authority and the City of Louisville will break ground Friday, March 29, on Phase I of the Beecher Terrace Revitalization. Phase I includes a single, four-story building with 117 units designed specifically for seniors.
As part of a U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Choice Neighborhoods Initiative Implementation Grant, the new Beecher Terrace will be transformed into a sustainable, walkable, and amenity-rich community. When complete it will offer over 600 units of affordable housing. The buildings reflect the character of nearby neighborhoods while maintaining their heritage and identity.
