A Survey: The Future of Student Housing

A Survey On The COVID-19 Pandemic Impact On Student Housing

John Whitney, AIA, Director of Higher Education

We’ve developed a short, to the point student housing survey to get your input on how the COVID-19 pandemic is affecting your institution’s student housing.  This is an evolving subject and a moving target, but clearly certain issues, concerns, problems, and potential solutions are beginning to become clear. We also know that the effect of COVID-19 today can and more than likely will be different a month, three months or six months from now. So while we will share our findings, we may reach out once again to check on how your situation has changed.

Thank you in advance for your involvement. We truly appreciate your feedback. We look forward to sharing the results in the weeks to come.

Amazing project for the future of the Russell County Students.Progress continues on the Lake Cumberland Regional College & Workforce Center! The building (under construction by Branscum Construction Company, Inc) is beginning to resemble the design rendering by Sherman Carter Barnhart Architects. The center is being constructed on the grounds of Russell County High School but will be a resource for the entire region. The center is expected to serve 2,215 high school students and 620 adults in all five primary Kentucky Workforce Investment Board sectors — advanced manufacturing, healthcare, technology, construction trades, and transportation. If you are not familiar with this project and how it will impact our regional workforce learn more on our website: https://rcidaky.com/lake-cumberland-regional-college-workforce-center ...
