Sherman Carter Barnhart Architect Kenny Stanfield, AIA, LEED AP was named Kentucky Planner of the Year by the Kentucky Chapter of the Council of Educational Facilities Planners International. Stanfield was recognized for his work toward sustainable school design, which led to the architectural design and collaboration that built the nation’s First Net Zero Energy School, Richardsville Elementary in Warren County Schools. Stanfield is a principal at Sherman Carter Barnhart Architects, focusing exclusively on the planning and design of educational facilities.
